The snowball fight

Today is a day of Winter...the second, in fact. Dad shoveled the driveway today, and after that Dan did, then Dad, then me and Dad started a snowball fight! We had such a fun time, especially because Anda joined halfway through! Dad also had a special move, "double-down digger", where he  threw snow behind him, hitting all behind him. Here are  two photos of the occasion:

On the second one, i look disformed, but I'm only looking to the right. Oh, and we're living in Longmont, Colorado at the time of this post.

Grandma's house: A plum-picking experience

Today, i had the most wonderful plum-picking experience. I went up a ladder next to a tall plum tree and...well, picked plums. I felt a bit queasy at first, but after a little, i felt kinda better. Here is the directions for picking plums off a tall tree:

  1. Climb a ladder by the tree.
  2. If you want to pick from a different branch, move the ladder.
  3. Reach out and pull the plum off the branch. Repeat if necessary.
  4. Throw away wrinkled plums. If only slightly wrinkled, do not

That is how. Here is a photo of me up a ladder, reaching out for a plum.

Have a lovely time plum-picking!
